'Objects In Space'

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Is the TH episode the next one? Do we really have to wait a whole month?

eta: (rather than go for a threepeat)

I want icons of this entire episode. Lots of goofy icons.

I so very much need one of Dean stuffing his face with cookies.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Thanks, Jon! Am now anxiously awaiting both new-to-me LoM and tonight's Supernatural. Stupid not having cable. Also my roomate "borrowed" the TV antenna, lord knows why, so it's DVDs or nothing right now.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Supernatural was HYSTERICAL. It was actually funnier than The Office, which is no small feat. Definite "Bad Blood" homage, and the shot where Chip Diller looks up at the light is directly from The X-Files. It's the classic shot they used in, like, every single ad.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Licking and tickling. And possibly wrestling.

I think I'm all trained by Joss-n-Tim, though. Light, fluffy, fun episode? Dude, they're going to totally bring on the pain in a month, aren't they?

Totally. Do we really have to wait a month?

That means I'll be in Portland the day it airs, I think.

I read it the other way around, actually. This was comic relief after last week's crazy scary drama.

See, I weaned on Buffy and Angel. They taught me that every Smile Time is followed by A Hole in the World.

Oh, well, I weaned on SHAKESPEARE.

Or something.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So this was not what SPN is usually like, then? Because I thought it was funny as hell, but not what I expected from all the discussion about the show in here. Have they done the occasional funny episode before? Is it more than occasional? Less?

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Frank, there are glimmers of teh funny in the middle of anvils of pain and bitchin' power shots involving a car. Notably, in this most recent episode, there were no power shots of the car. (Although they could not avoid hints of the underlying emo -- because I never forgive my siblings overtly when they are acting like twerps.)

(Although now I am flashing back to that blooper where Sam says "I think that midget stripper gave me herpes" -- one of the better crackups on the reel.)
