I wondered about the SC.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well, that and I was pre-caffeine as well. It probably didn't help that I fell asleep before the end of TDS and woke back up during TCR.
Whoa! Impressive porny number there.
I think all of my flailing is currently being used up on SGA
Ditto here. Though apparently The 4400 will be making a bid for next in line, as Kavan Smith gets a significantly expanded role .
I think the whole family thing is a particular button that needs to be pushed in order to tip people over to flaily territory, and I just don't have it.
As it turned out, it's a Big Huge Previously Unrecognized Button.
My Batfamily obsession really should've been a clue. But it's like it's distilled what I loved about The X Files, large sections of the Buffyverse, and the Batbooks into one overproof shot of Hi, Please Hurt Me NOW.
YMMV - I think that seeing everyone else flail can make one less likely to flail, because there's so much buildup.
I started watching two days after IMToD, totally not expecting to have an acute case of flail. I think I was just bored and wondering what the hell had the Flist so hot and bothered.
TRANSLATION: They're no Jim Halpert.
Haha. I was going to add something about how no one has to justify their flailing and I am not one to talk since the thing that makes me the flailiest is a bleedin' half hour SITCOM fer crying out loud. But that's more succinct.
ION, my Life on Mars torrents are going to take *forever*.
Mines (both hours) have already finished downloading, but I'm here at work, instead of at home watching them. The world is a cruel, harsh place.
I have also caught up on SGA over the weekend and have enjoyed the last two episodes immensely, even though I don't really get flaily about that show either.

I went all the way to The Usual Suspects without flailing, and then went back to the beginning to rewatch all of S1 in order. Somewhere in there the flail hit. Mostly, I blame the fandom, particularly Big Pink's "Red" and Nilchance and Beanside's "Of Bastard Saints", both of which bring on the emoporn like woah.
It's weird how much emotion I'm investing in these characters--it's like the wacky old Farscape days for me. Without the leather.
Suela, I referred to Red as a "full-on deep tissue emo massage" in IM with Jilli the other day, but really, that might just sum up my reaction to the freakin' show.

Heh. Yeah. For me, S4 AtS.

I knew I had that button (in particular, the "strained but undershot with deep love" father-son relationship), but I didn't realize how hard it could be pushed.
