I think that Nathan has never actually met Claire so if he saw the picture it wouldn't be recognition so much as the thing his mother mentioned. He didn't want to look because if she became real to him then he'd really want to take care of her.
I think that by sending Heather away to learn how to control her wolfiness (shades of Oz!) - they're leaving a door open to have the other werewolf tales.
Also, I totally rewatched BSG to be sure to see the Viper Mobile and now I want one!!
(I watched the rest of the Toy Group after Heroes and seeing the Pom made me feel bad for Mr. Muggles all over again.)

Did he not meet her post-Homecoming? When he went to get Peter out of jail and whatnot? Wasn't Claire there?
Good episode tonight! As someone above said, they made Jessica and Matt much more interesting. I loved that he could hear Niki because, of course,
it's all in their head.
I'm not sure that Claire was there by the time that Nathan arrived. I know that Peter met her. . . but I am not certain that Nathan did. I thought that Peter met her and then her father hustled her away.
Claire doesn't have to tell HRG the Haitian betrayed his trust, does she?
She can be all "my brain regenerates, too."
And the thing is -- it just might do that.
I read TWOP's recap of the episode post-Homecoming. . . and Nathan never meets Claire.
(I mean the episode that takes place after Homecoming -- it's actually the second episode after the Homecoming episode.)
Its only real drawback, IMO, is the porn.
Butcher has a fascination with sponge baths and sex...
Dead Beat, on the other hand, has zombie hordes, which you can't help but appreciate. And, you know, the whole Sue thing.
I cheered out loud when I realized what Harry was up to with Sue!
Speaking of Butters, did you catch the "I love polka" shirt on the friendly medical examiner in this episode?
I cheered again!
I can understand that. On the other hand, I wonder why adapt the books in the first place if you're only going to pay them lip-service.
To get a pre-existing fan-base?
Finish each season by closing out the story arc for that book (or maybe even do a two-parter that extends into the next season premiere.)
I was thinking that as well, but then soon realized that the show would have to run for twenty years to do that.
Heroes:
ah, damn, I had misremembered Nathan being at the station the same time Claire was. Darn it!

Actually, given that Jessica was seeing Niki outside of a reflection, I really wonder - did Matt hear her because he's psychic, or because Niki was really there? Also, I wonder what Jessica is thinking - that Matt read her mind, or that Niki might be getting loose again.

I'm still in the schizo camp. I figured "they" were talking out loud, but "they" was really one person having a conversation with herself.

Have we seen either of them interact with the other outside the context of a reflection before? I don't remember that they have, but that may just be my memory being crap these days.
