Handsome brooding vampire guy has to swoop in all sensitive mouth and overhanging forehead. How 'bout leaving some scraps for the homely-looking fellows who don't turn evil when they get some?

What is even happening?

Maybe it's "a homophobe"?

No it isn't, because she was using "homophobic" to modify the word "type".

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It's the English Language: common usage MAKES the rules.

See also: descriptivists always win. (Neener!)

That said, the article 'the' is pronounced differently depending on if it's stressed or unstressed, and if it's in front of a vowel or not.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Hah. I guess I wasn't looking at the original context.

That's the problem with reading posts individually. I had forgotten the context.

Sincerest apologies. I'll go watch something on DVD and try to stop hitting my forehead.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

This, I will state, is new as of about three or four episodes ago.

Night Shifter is where I noticed my attraction to him going up. The hair is better, but the shot of him glaring at Dean as they get frisked & the knife is found (scroll halfway down) is.... well, damn. Boy's growing up. Now, the acting he did in this past ep amped up the attraction a lot.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I just finished watching the BSG tapes of Season 3 that sumi leant me and all I can say is "Wow, uh, yeah, wow". The words 'to be continued' were the smallest shock of the finale. I have no idea how this show keeps surprising and working so well and gut-punching me all at the same time.

I can't wait till it comes out on DVD, because I'm sure there are plenty of deleted scenes. There is so much going on all the time.

I'm so sad about Kat. And what the frak is going on with Starbuck?

I love the way that all of the scenes on the Cylon ship have lovely piano music in the background and all the water falls. My head is too full to be any more coherent.

sumi, I'll be getting them back to you asap. Thank you!

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

For the grammar police -- is it "a" homophobic, or "an" homophobic?

Either is totally OK. (I use "a" for "homophobic," ironically, but "an" for "historic".)

I saw some first-season Gilmore Girls because the Flatmates are obsessed and know where the ABC Family Channel is. GG-Dean (Padalecki), who was probably, what, seventeen at the time, looks like the Enormous Hall Monitor. It's pretty funny.

To my knowledge, he has never in his life had good hair; if he did, I might find him more attractive.

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, I think that Cute!Dean looks like an overgrown puppy. And it doesn't help that Rory is teeny tiny.

Guess what I'm about to get my grubby little mitts on? S1 of Supernatural, baby. All DVDs are waiting for me at the library counter (uh, as soon as I pay my fine, which I'm doing in about two minutes. Whee!). Libraries rule, and not just for the books.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

To my knowledge, he has never in his life had good hair

This is very true, and very sad. I have loved Padalecki since GG, when he was floppy and endearing. Though I always viewed him as kind of brotherly, because Rory is so much my younger sibling that it's eerie, and never wanted to climb him like a tree until SPN. When I saw the premiere promos before, I was all about him, though. Yum.

Add one more to the Kool-Ade counter!

I don't remember what GG-Dean looked like. I should go back and look.
