You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I went and cleaned a couple more.

Can people hear Peter and Claude when they are invisible?

There was at least one scene of someone turning their head trying to figure out who was talking. For a guy who's invisible, Claude isn't particularly stealthy.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

There was? Excellent! Thanks.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay, yup. It looks all clean to me now.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

For a guy who's invisible, Claude isn't particularly stealthy.

But, does he really need to be? I mean if you hear a voice, but don't see anyone, are you going to be thinking, "Must be an invisible man!" or "Must be some weird echo thing off the buildings. Huh. What a strong gust of wind that nearly knocked me to the ground and took my scarf!"

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I loved the guy behind them with a roller bar of clothes trying to figure out why he can't move it.

While visions may have disclosed that Peter learns to better use his powers from Claude, they certainly didn't promise that Claude would be nice about it!

Our wings are not tired.

they certainly didn't promise that Claude would be nice about it!

Which I appreciate, because very entertaining.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yeah. He's not your Yoda, dude. He's your Ra's al Ghul.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, Dr. Where rocks it!

I have been that guy with the bar of clothes. From now on, I am going to blame all clumsiness, blindness, and inexplicable sticking shopping cart wheels on Dr. Where.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

He's not your Yoda, dude. He's your Ra's al Ghul.

I do love a succinct geeky sentence.

Noticed while watching Supersymmetry the other day that Gunn makes a comic ref--to Daredevil 181, and it kinda chagrined me (can you verb that?) to realise I could see the cover in my mind's eye.
