Wesley: I stabbed you. I should apologize for that. But I'm honestly not sure how. I think it'll just be awkward. Gunn: Good call. Wesley: Okay.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I like TV Murphy, but I *really* like "you know I care because I'm taking the time to curse you out" book Murphy.

And, more interesting? Come ON! The ANGST! The banter, the uncertainty, the innuendo, and then with the ripping out of hearts! It's not like it's a static, boring relationship that goes no where. Silly networks (and test audiences).

Now, the books have LOTS of continuity. Do you have any knowledge if the show was concieved to be very stand-alone-ish episode to episode? Apologies if you've already talked about this.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I'm nowhere enough of a Trek fan to pick it up, but someone pointed out on LJ that the license plate on Mr. Nakamura's limo was "NCC 1701", which is the registry number for USS Enterprise. Ha! They are such geeks.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Though, I guess, technically, if that's not a known thing, it shouldn't be in here at all.

I didn't realize it was an actual spoilery thing, considering the over-abundance of whitefont in this thread. [spoilery content excised]

Well, crap.

Robert Wolfe has said Sci-Fi wanted the first season to be more or less stand-alone episodes. There is arc, but it's very subtle. They're hoping to introduce more arcs, particularly by borrowing from Grave Peril and Summer Knight (They already did Storm Front for the thus-far unaired pilot and this week's episode "Hair of the Dog" is going to borrow elements from Fool Moon) in the second season, if they get one. He compared it to early Season 1 Angel in regards to arciness.

But it was George Takei's limo. Shouldn't it have said "NCC-2000?"

(Okay, I admit, I had to look up the Excelsior's registry number.)

Sorry, Kalshane. I'll just delete that post. Not that that helps you any, but...

as much as I love Hiro, this storyline seemed like a major waste of George Takai.

Unless he has powers not yet revealed. It does run in families.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Sylar! Eeeep! He does creepy really well.

I have a feeling I\'m going to have to fight off a head explodey disconnect when Netflix sends the So NoTORIous DVDs to me and I see Zachary Quinto\'s character in that.
