Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So are they going through cancelled UPN series? Are they doing Haunted after that?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

More seriously, the show does a lot with visuals, and the recurring doomed blonde theme seems to be a conscious echo of Mary's death and the start of this whole thing.

You're right, and I did notice that. But it seems like the ... gnnng, throw-away isn't quite the right word, but it's close ... anyway, the throw-away walk-on characters who are playing "1st Victim" seem to be mostly brunettes.

There are recurring doomed blonde chicks, too. But the characters where we barely know their names before the Bad Thing eats them are usually brunette.

(We just finished watching "Provenance". Once dinner has been made, we're on to the next episode, which Pete commented should make me pleased because it's about vampires.)

Oh, Dead Man's Blood! Awesome! Jilli, you're into the finale arc, then. You may want to stay up to watch the rest of it...

So... remember that line about unicorns?

This is so not my fault.

Suela, you are responsible for me having a tag in del.icio.us for unicorns, so you know.

It's sad that I know it will get more than one use, isn't it?

It likely will, I fear.

Ah, well. No sparkles to be seen, anyway.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Plei, Suela, let me ask again before I presume. I'd like to tag these lines of yours, if it's okay.

Besides, homocidal racist TRUCK.

GHOST truck, even.

Oh, sure, Beverly. But please correct the spelling on homicidal? Thanks!
