Zoe: Is there any way I'm gonna get out of this with honor and dignity? Wash: You're pretty much down to ritual suicide, lambie-toes.

'War Stories'

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Phantom Traveler is pretty funny.

I think "Phantom Traveler" is when I began to grasp the enormity of what the Winchesters were doing. The fact that they were literally putting their lives on the line, just to save other people. Once they knew what was going on, they were compelled to stop it, whatever the risk.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'll have to mainline the three eps this weekend. I don't know if DH is on the SPN train. He asked me what it was about and I said, "Two brothers search for their father while battling the hellish forces of evil. And did I mention they're hot?"

I keep trying to explain it to people. But perhaps if you said, "Okay, so, you know how in BtVS, the metaphor was 'high school is hell?' Well, in Supernatural, it's 'family is hell.' Oh, and the boys? Hot." it might work.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

So I got my first disc of SPN from Netflix yeaterday-- I've been watching S2 as it airs, but I've yet to see most of S1. And, oh man, I am hooked. Hooked so bad, oh lord. This show-- this could get to be as good as X-Files ever got, or better, couldn't it?

Art Crawl!!!

Okay, when did Clark get into the Red Kryptonite? Suddenly he's flying and ripping Lois' shirt off? How did I miss the red kryptonite. . . or was it Clark himself?

Wasn't there Kryptonite rock in the lipstick the herbalist/whatever she was gave Lois at the dance? And then she kissed Clark?

The questions are because I wandered off at one point. The Justice League knockoff remains a Smallville high point for me. I sorta despise Lana and the ensuing drama.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

This show-- this could get to be as good as X-Files ever got, or better, couldn't it?

Never was an X-phile, but yes, yes it could. Kripke, you magnificent bastard.

Art Crawl!!!

So, I'm sad that Chloe and Jimmy broke up. I like that Clark's mom told him he had to be more true with his feelings.

Huh. That was a rather sinister little Lex scene.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jane Espenson signed to Eureka.

Ducking back out of thread.

OOH, very cool.

Also running from the thread.
