I love that they wrote "gulp." I wish that this episode had been just Claire, the Petrellis and Hiro and Ando. (Of course, then we'd get an episode of just Matt and Nikki/Ikkin which would suck.)

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

I am SO over Lee/Dee. I liked Dualla when she was a minor character in HER OWN STORYLINE. I do not like her as a minor character in SOMEONE ELSE'S STORYLINE
wrod.
I feel the same about Cally. In fact the end of Season 2 entirely struck me as riddled with !!!WTF???!!! wrt the whole business of suddenly slapping people into relationships that I'd seen precious little build up to. I didn't read Cally as being In Wuv Wiv The Chief at all; when she went postal over Sharon, I didn't think that was all about blighted wuv - more 'fucking hell, you're an alien traitor robot thing, and you've totally screwed over The Chief and caused the deaths of loads of my friends, die bitch die!!!' Which, you know, not all that unreasonable a response, and certainly one that I could have bought just as easily from the Chief's other minions/pals. If any were still left alive by then.
And the Dee thing...yeah, the whole 'sod Billy, let's make Dee be the spanner in the works for Lee/Kara!' thing - well, no. They could have sold it to me, but they evidently couldn't be arsed. And having Dee run around behind Billy's back really seemed jarring as hell to me. Up until then she had been pretty honest, straightforward, professional and cool, and then suddenly she's girly bitca playa woman? WTF? So - yeah. I stopped liking her so much around then. Don't hate her, but - yeah. Whatever.
Do like Anders immensely, though. And I still like Starbuck. This season's Apollo has been one long pain in the arse, though.
It's the same kid, now with stubble.
yeah, i just rewound and watched the credits. same kid. he just looks different to me. not because of the stubble either. weird.
his imdb picture looks even more different.
sidenote: it's really good to see Christopher Eccleston on my tv screen again. when he said fantastic i grinned. i so miss him as my Doctor.
Maybe they tried so hard to un-gay Zach they ended up making him look like an entirely different person.
Was it here or at TWOp where they commented that they basically just made Zach unwashed when they tried to ungay him. (Which is so true.)
Also, Mr. Bennett is so very suspicious.
I think the stubble makes a big difference. Kid's got a baby face. (He is 20...)
Me too! But in the scene with the father looking on the Web, Dresden is standing waaay back from the computer, and when the father asks if he watches Court TV, he says he doesn't watch tv at all. Then, static and crash. So there's still a possibility that they'll do something with the magic-electrical interference thing.
I think the static and crash was more the ghosts doing, but I noticed the standing back too. And I know they've been keeping him fairly low-tech (Jeep, record player instead CD player/Ipod, no cell phone) but he apparently still deals better with technology than book!Harry, considering he can actually have electricity in his apartment and a gas stove. Still, one would think in two episodes he would have fried something by now. (Then again, he hasn't used a single one of his standard evocations yet, either. Blocking bullets with the shield bracelet is the closest he's come so far, and even that's drastically different than how it works in the books. Looks and personality-wise, he feels fairly close to book!Harry, but ability-wise he seems very different.)
I'm confused about whether everyone can see Bob, or just Dresden and other magical/psychic people. But I guess the books are no help with that, so we'll have to see.
I'm thinking everyone can see him, considering he goes to hide in his skull when Murphy knocks on the door, but we haven't had any proof either way, yet.
I love that they wrote "gulp."
So did I.
sidenote: it's really good to see Christopher Eccleston on my tv screen again. when he said fantastic i grinned. i so miss him as my Doctor.
I actually laughed when one of the first things out of his mouth this episode was "Fantastic!"
I agree with the missing him as the Doctor.
I was suprised when CE's character showed up outside the door. I totally thought Peter was getting close to Nathan to syphon off some flying mojo to try and escape (and that may have been his original plan).
Did anyone else find the shrink suspicious? I thought that she might not be what she said she was, but I'm not sure why I'm thinking that: trying to call out Jessica?
Also, Mr. Bennett is so very suspicious.
I didn't like the whole "oooOOOooo, a windchime!" Dude, it's a windchime.
