Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

So, Gaeta finally cracked! I've been waiting for that to happen. And I loved that they brought back the theme of floating in water = fugue state, like when Lee was running out of air after Galactica and Pegasus took on the Resurrection ship. Also, it flowed nicely into the Resurrection pool of the Cylons. And that final scene of Laura and Bill relaxing together after a hard day's interrogation brought back their roles of Mommy and Daddy of the fleet. Very familial feeling to that scene.

Art Crawl!!!

Very interesting. They not only have the whole of that bonus scene up on the website as the bonus scene from this episode but if you open up the video player you also get a bonus scene for the next episode which is very interesting - and features all sorts of things that I don't think were even hinted at in the preview that aired.

Yeah, whatever Baltar said to him, I don't think it matters because I think that he was hoping to get Gaeta to kill him.

I roll my eyes forever at Lee and also don't care about which of them stays with whom for whatever reason. Except, I really do like Anders. Though I do not buy his... whatever that was... of Kara. The romantic entanglements of those four make me less interested in them as characters; I don't think that's how it's supposed to work. Eh. Maybe they'll stop with that thread now (please god).

Loved the extended scene. Thought the Baltar stuff was well-played. I also wanted to see the Fighting Agathons rather than the romantic square stuff. The bar was an interesting touch. I get the feeling we'll be seeing more of it. Gaeta, man... did Baltar whisper something to him? We didn't hear that, did we?

Actually, I got Anders logic. I mean if you believe in that destiny thing at all (and her apartment decor/Eye of Jupiter has to have her nearest and dearest all wondering) - then what would the purpose have been in being married and waiting 4 months just to break up when you're finally together. Unless, of course, Anders' purpose in all this was just to break Kara out of prison and get her back to the Galactica.

So, if you go to the Galactica site to look at the full bonus scene also click on the video player so you can see the bonus scene from the next new episode.

I just read your other post and saw the scene from next week, sumi. Eeenteresting. Could you figure out what the whole (spoilers for the video clip from next week's BSG): "No touching!" thing was? Was it some sort of religious thing? I was confused. Also? I adore Helo. I mean, he didn't even do anything really, I just adore him, is all .

So, his "If you love him, go to him," thing had something to do with her destiny, is what he was thinking? I may not have been paying close enough attention.

I thought it had something to do with her destiny.

In the preview, I couldn't figure out what that "no touching" thing was either -- also the stance the people had -- that did make it seem religious. I kept thinking that something bad was going to happen and I think that came from Helo's attitude of slight wigged-outness. I am so happy we're going to see Helo in two weeks.

Loved Roslin relaxing on Adama's bed.

Hmmm. . .

Yes, the Adama and Roslin bit at the end was lovely.

Oh, and Adama punching out Gaeta to save Baltar.

And Adama has a new haircut.

BTW, this is the episode that EJO directed, isn't it?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oy.

So what happened in this BSG?

Not the events, but what moved forward?

The romantic melodrama is still in place, Baltar's still in custody not knowing whether or not he's a Cylon, and Adama doesn't know how much the Cylons know.

Oh, wait. Gaeta has a secret. It had better be a foreshadowed secret, or I'll be as irritated as D'anna's secret revelation made me.

Hmmph. The bits were well done, but they didn't go anywhere or show me more anything.
