Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Feh. Robert Wolfe reports on Jim Butcher's forums that Dresden won't be doing incantations for his magic on the show because they feel it would seem too much like Harry Potter.
Because of course Harry Potter is the first wizard to ever use magic words...
somebody at TWOP met Colin at a convention and has nothing but nice things to say
Dude's jetset now, man. Apparently he's hanging out with the Heroes cast, but most importantly
not
Masi Oka, because that just wouldn't be fair.
No, it really, really wouldn't.
No, it really, really wouldn't.
Because it would be so much adorable in one place that the universe would implode?
More that I don't care how fucking talented and charming Colin is, I'm not down with any more of my friends knowing Masi than currently do. And that was way before I met the friend, so I can't honestly complain.
Colin, OTOH, better slow his roll.
I quite liked the first episode of the Dresden Files, and I think I'm going to stick with it and see how it plays out. But it's making me want to go out and get the books too, which is nice for both the books and the interestingness of the television show.
Has the guy that's playing Dresden been in anything else? He looks weirdly familiar.
He was on 24 last year and he was on the Dec 22nd episode of Monk and I'm sure he's been in something else.
Larry Drake (best known as Benny from LA Law) - who was in "Shindig"
Holy crap! I never made that connection!
(off to figure out who Dresden was on 24...)
He was on 24 last year
Aha! He was the terrorist in Day 3 of 24 (not last year). [link]
