A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Jeebus. Congatulations on 200! You're cancelled.
If you read the Variety story, it sounds very much like the SG-1 PTB were told right before the 200th-episode party. Which, you know, give them a couple of days to bask, will you?
As I said elsewhere, though, I'm not at all surprised Sci-Fi did that. Sci-Fi is the do-that channel.
Sniff. I'll miss you, show!
Maybe they can take some of the cast and start a new show about space pirates?
See, here's what you do. You take Cameron and Vala, and they get... let's call it shot... through a wormhole...
And for maximum fan outrage, it came RIGHT on the heels of that Richard Dean Anderson interview where he said he wouldn't be opposed to returning to the show in a more regular capacity if it went another season.
Quick, someone remind the folks at savedanieljackson.com that Shanks has new mouths to feed and a less-than-stellar employment record away from the SciFi network!
See, here's what you do. You take Cameron and Vala, and they get... let's call it shot... through a wormhole...
And they wind up as multi-colored skittles?
Maybe the Serenity sets are still around somewhere...
I want to see Thor wandering around Serenity.
And now I want to see Thor and River hanging out.

Isn't that exactly what the WB did to Buffy -- announced it right before the 100th-ep party?
Is this some sort of network credo based on some bullshit philosophy?
SFC cancelled Farscape the last day of shooting the season. They are skilled at finding just the wrong time for those announcements.
That said, at least they gave the writers enough time to deal with the finale.
But I still want a space pirates show.

My recollection is that UPN offered more money to ME than the WB. The WB never cancelled the show.
