Huh. Harry pretty much had me from the end of chapter 1 with his "Paranoid? Maybe. But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face."
'Sleeper'
Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Barrowman and his architect didn't look like brothers to me. They just looked gorgeous and happy. Rock on, OK magazine. You get a redeeming point.
Supernatural was really enjoyable this week. but the drunk!Sam thing felt very out of place--I too thought he was possessed for awhile there. But his comments to Dean whilst (badly portraying) drunk were very, very funny. And Dean's face... Sam might be a lightweight, but at least he remembers things in the morning. For pure PRETTY, that motion where Sam turns over in the bed and there's just that strip of skin and his long, lean back....gah. Had to watch that a couple times.
The dolls? Super creepy. And mostly I was appalled at the end, where Rose had agreed to stay with her sister, but only because she had no choice.. it was just that little bit of the grey area, which I like, especially when it does set me back a little. Anyway, good show.
But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face.
Well, I won't be sleeping for a while.
SA, I'm coming around to the theory that Sam was less drunk than he was claiming/pretending to be. As far as possible fanwanks go, it's one that a: explains away the acting; b: makes a lot of sense for the character; and c: I don't think I have a c, but it still makes a lot of sense.
Means he was manipulating Dean to get what he wanted. Which on principle I have an issue with, given what he knows Dean's been going through. OTOH, knowing your dad told your brother he might have to kill you is grounds for some heavy distress as well.

Yep. I mean, it's still an assish little brother thing to do (not, you know, that I have ANY experience with little brothers being drunken asses in part to extract promises from their older siblings, no, none at all), but Sam's got at least some justification behind the assishness.
Are we doing a Dresden watch 'n post? Here?
Aw, man, I just a pretty spoilery BSG promo. "One will X, one will X, and one will X." I didn't need to know that, dammit! I mean, none of it is totally surprising, but I hate having the prospect of such things happening confirmed.
Was it broadcast? I ask because you can say what X is here, for those of us who are promo-less, due to extreme football. sigh.
And now I'm thinking the promo was C-F-M. I think I need a nap.
OMG, this is fantastic. t gasps for breath
Greensilver on LJ is watching XF for the first time, she's just up through Anasazi. And she has this great rant about how Mulder can angst with the best of them. So there's like an angst-off. And then she put up a playoffs chart for character angst. It's fantastic, although I think Tim would wipe the floor with Josh Lyman.
