A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Also, written by Steve DeKnight.
This means nothing anymore, as he's written some
awful
SV episodes.
I think it's the best Smallville I've seen in eons. I'm not a huge Smallville fan, though, so my opinion may be skewed.
This is true, however, and I've been watching for years. The best episode in ages. They should just cancel the show and do a Justice League spinoff.
Also, as someone on LJ pointed out, JP wasn't really that good at showing us Sam was drunk. I too thought he was possessed or something, maybe stoned.
Oh yeah. He was terrible at acting drunk; I thought he was possessed too.
Why the hell would anyone put someone who had recently had a stroke and who was confined to a wheelchair at the tippy-top of a huge monstrosity that apparently doesn't have an elevator?)
Were they Southern? We have a time-honored tradition of keeping inconvenient relations in the attic...
I thought it was New England.
Silly drunken Sam. Lightweight!
But still,
oh, Dean!
Your family needs to stop trying to get you to kill them.
JP wasn't really that good at showing us Sam was drunk. I too thought he was possessed or something, maybe stoned.
I think this was key for me. Drunk wasn't the first thing that came to mind-- possessed was, and then stoned, so by the time the drunk came up, it seemed off.
Twas funny though.
Where was the Sasquatch comment? I missed it.
When Dean hauls him out of the chair to put him to bed. "Come on, Sasquatch." It wasn't too long after the "and short." comment.
I was really upset about the recent stroke victim in the attic. And when the daughter said, "I just have to get Mom," at the last, and ran up the steps like she was going to tuck her under her arm, wheelchair and all, and truck her down the steps... Okay, that's just not right. Unless there was an elevator behind one of those closet doors or something. The whole granny in the attic thing bothered me even more than insta-drunk Sam.
hehehe
I went looking for SPN screen caps, as I sometimes do. I found some new ones, but I also found these.
hehehe
eta: Thanks Beverly!
I agree-- the whole grandma in the attic thing was annoying.
Lee, you are indirectly to blame for me now wanting S2 DA fic called "The Dog Ate My Homework."
I should know better than to look at screencaps after my bedtime.
Totally not yay! I thought of Joshua in an unclean fashion! Unclean, I tell you!
BUT, had like, more random thinky thoughts in LJ about the contract to sell the house/hotel as a reflection/nod to John's contract, where the owner enters unaware that this means destruction, not rehabilitation.
And... I need to rewatch this ASAP.
