Lefties switch the side they wear their watch on? I'd never thought of it.
So much so, it's sometimes a plot point in mystery and/or spy novels. You knock out a guard, but you need his hand for the handprint, but you have to make sure he is right or left-handed -- aha! The watch on the right hand proves he is left-handed.
(I, who am righty and wear righty, was like, Wait, really?)
I am to understand that the vast majority of people wear a watch on the opposite hand. Except Buffistas.
This is why I never believed in Sherlock Holmes. His amazing powers of deduction depending on people being entirely predictable, and they're not.
This is also the weakness of economics as a predictive social science.
I'm a leftie. I can't remember which side I wear my watch on because it's been so long since I've had a working watch.
And the popgurls have an interview with John Shiban. There's a spoiler warning in the interview but I haven't read far enough to see how spoilery it is.

I can't believe you double-faked me out like that; even unspoiled, I kept waiting for it to be some big fakeout like you always do, but no, one time you actually had to go and make it real. I can't even enjoy all the awesome bits of characterization you gave us (LORNE PAINTS!) because it's all tainted with the pointless death of Carson without any emotional buildup.

Ha! SA, I had the same problem with SG-1 10.12 re: what ultimately happened to Daniel in the previous ep. I still can't quite remember.
I haven't worn a watch in years, but I just bought one online that ought to be in town within a day or so, and I think I may be a right-wearing rightie, 'cause I haven't even considered the possibility of putting it on my left wrist yet.
