I've seen '200' three times in full. And now that I'm trying to vid with it, individual pieces dozens of times. Good thing it holds up.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I expect Teal'c PI to be on YouTube any second, if it's not there already.
And my satellite feed got totally ferwonked, so I'll have to Netflix it after all.
Oh, no! (Are you bringing it to DC? *g*)
Never having watched any version of Stargate before, I still found "200" pretty damn funny. I'm sure I missed tons of in-jokes, but I was still giggling throughout!
Yeah, it was a love note to the fans--to more than the SG fans.
There's a fine line there--I think they danced it very well. Not everything was equally hysterical to everyone, no doubt. But it felt respectful and affectionate, and poked fun at places that weren't sore.
I just watched that BSG promo--very evocative! Over the weekend, I saw my Netflixed Disc 1 of Season 2 (the only episodes I had yet to watch), and was delighted to see the beginning of Baltar's descent into darkness in "Fragged." Also, I'm really loving the Helo (such a pretty face!)/Kara friendship, especially during their little break at her apartment in Delphi listening to her father's piano playing.
I loved that too. Just -- when they get into her truck and drive off - it's like they are clearly falling into old patterns.
I'm going to take a couple seconds to process that.

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the studio that owns and produces Stargate SG-1, recently expressed strong support for the series and the franchise ( [link] ). Studio executives are working to identify an alternative outlet for Stargate SG-1, people close to the production said. Season 10 of the show is still in production. It's not yet clear if production will continue or if completed episodes will air. A Sci Fi press official did not respond to an e-mail inquiry sent over the weekend.
