I believe Blinvisible!Jack is being presented as more or less canon -- it's something that SG-1 is recounting as more or less fact. Though I'm not sure that Teal'c would ever be making that many puns in character (the corridor sequence), but maybe Carter is sexing it up for Marty?
Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I just hope if we do get to meet the Furlings, they don't look like Ewoks.
I want them to be reptilian. Although I could deal with aquatic, which would explain the never meeting them.
My bigger canon question is what the Hell was up with the Cam is Jack's son bit? Actually, not even as a canon question, just as a wtf?.
Based on resemblance (and likelihood of catting around, not to mention "interfering") it would be more likely Daniel is his father.
But fannish opinion seems to be that SG-1 was pulling Cam's leg.
After all, he has 'the highest security clearance known to man.'

Snerk

This was my read, as well, but the utter lack of comment 'round these parts seemed odd.
I'm still reeling from the discovery that TPTB expect us to believe Cameron Mitchell was born in 1970. Ben Browder looks amazing for being almost 44 years old, but not in a way that makes me think he's a decade younger.
The ideae that Jack might actually be Cam's father gives me the willies, not sure why.
CoffeeDrinkingLion!Daniel would have been a lot cuter if he didn't have the So Very Bored With It All expression that I've come to associate with Michael Shanks' real-life personality.
I thought the Bored Now expression was hilarious, considering I was expecting a Confused!Daniel expression. Daniel being Bored is funny to me because it's so far from the Daniel of ten years ago who was agog at everything. He's grown up and cahnged, and as long as I can keep from thinking about Michael Shanks, I enjoy him. This dissonance is painful and may be why I mostly stopped watching.
Just finished watching the special and 200. Just too many great moments to recount them. At first I thought it wouldn't hold up through the years on rewatch. Then I decided there will be some bit that I won't remember that will delightfully surprise me on rewatch. I judge an episode in part on how it holds up over time and I think this will work in future viewings.
Now to round up my family to watch the Eureka we missed.
I don't generally watch SG1, but the 200 ep was hilarious.
I thought it was really funny how Daniel was John Crichton, but it made sense since it's all Vala & Daniel all the time in the few eps I've seen. I don't actually like Daniel, which is mostly why I don't watch SG.
Boa vs. Python is on at 5PM EST today, for those of you who might have a thing for that David Hewlett guy.
t sighs
t programs TiVo
The things I do for you, Hewlett. This means I don't have to bring it to Dragon*Con, right?
Yes. Also, since I taped it, I think we need to schedule a simultaneous watch-and-chat.
