Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

So if I tune in to watch this episode of SPN will I be totally lost since I have never seen the show? And if I watch one will I have to have more?

Probably and yes.

Mmm. Winchesters.

Our wings are not tired.

Ackles was on some soap I watched at some point in my life, but he was too young then to appeal. Apparently he be all grown up now.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

(That is what YouTube is for!)

Seriously, how did fans do the "give me backstory -- to say nothing of ancillary squee -- by the shovel-load!" before YouTube? All I could remember was he'd been on Days when I was in college, but some clever soul uploaded about 100 clips of him (low quality) just so we could see how craptacularly bad an actor he once was!!

ETA: Days of Our Lives x-post!

Oh, those gentle nostalgic days, when people made dupes of dupes of dupes on VHS! (I have old X-Files material in this format, occasionally interrupted by accidental tapings-over with basketball statistics.)

Apparently he be all grown up now.

He's no longer preternaturally pretty in a doll-like fashion. Now that he's a little scruffy around the edges, I find him hot like a burning hot flaming thing.

Yeah, he performed a nice escape from Uncanny Valley.

Hot like a burning hot flaming thing that's been soaked in gasoline and lit on fire.

So what we're trying to get across appears to be: damn, the Ackles is one hot, hot human.

As I said in someone's LJ post recently, Jensen Ackles, how are you so hot?

Being home sick means that between reviewing this incredibly boring document I can read fic. And do I use my time at home reading porn? No. I read the absolutely heartbreaking crack wee!Dean story by Em Brunson. Oy.
