A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Art Crawl!!!

I "froogled" and man - even with the addition of the mini - that's a short season and kind of pricey.

I'm sure that the cheaper places are out of stock because they are cheaper.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Just watched the last two eps of Torchwood and ZOMG is exactly right! I love my nonsensical gay emoporn sci-fi show! There was hugging and crying and growing! There was gay snogging, and then just in case that wasn't enough, there was more gay snogging! And there was flailing and squeaking from me, in that sort of "oh show, why are you so bad HOLY MOTHER OF GOD do that again!" kind of way. I mean... Jack has a showdown with the DEVIL? I'm sorry, what? And Gwen's kiss raises him from the dead? I laughed and laughed. And then the DOCTOR! Yay! I am all a-squee.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You know what would have been cool about the near-ending of the ep? Well, okay, the TARDIS was well cool. But if Jack had kissed Gwen before he headed out to fight the big bad, which meant that when she kissed him, she was giving back his life force. Like tucking away in a pocket in case you need it later.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

But then the (near-)ending would have made sense!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I have GOT to get my hands on Torchwood. Dammit. Is it being released in the US ever?

I watched some Farscape today, and then the miniseries.

I got all sniffly. My show!

What is David Kemper up to these days, anyway? hmm. IMDB says he just wrote two movies with implausible names (Tyrannosaurus Azteca and Heatstroke), which sounds to me like he's doing the SciFi Saturday night dealie. Interestingly enough, they're both being directed by Andrew Prowse; I wonder if that means they're shooting in Oz...

I watched some Farscape today, and then the miniseries.

I really need to stop procrastinating and get more than season one on dvd. a rewatch is in order. especially seasons 2 and 3. the more angst the better!!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

No word on when/if Torchwood is being released in the US. I pray for BBC-America, who would probably run it relatively uncut.

Yeah, you just know that if Torchwood were broadcast on SciFi, they'd cut out the best bit (and I think you know which bit I mean) from Ep. 12.
