Uh, no -- was it a promo for the Stargates? Or a promo for BSG?
Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
It was a Stargates thingie -- it was some extra scene or something that was only available on AOL during the showing, with a password they flashed briefly on the screen.
I'm sure YouTube, et al, will be showing it eventually.... :0)
...so I have now seen an episode of Eureka and one of The 4400.
Except that actually I just got to listen to them both, because there was no picture on the telly.
It was quite odd, sitting in a guesthouse in Heathrow and listening to dialogue and thinking 'hey, that chap is a friend of ita's! And he was on B.org the other day!' and only having a voice.
Sounded v. watchable, though.
Theo, I tried, but my computer complained mightily, so I didn't acutally manage to
Loved Sgt Silar's "why does this always happen to me" crack. I thought the face of Daniel!Marrionette had vaguely James Spader and Michael Shanks features.
Fuck, I loved 200.
The Farscape, the J/D, the quotage, Teal'c PI, invisbling Jack, the whole deal.
Yeah, I suspect I will catch more bits each repeat viewing of 200. So much fun. So much content.
I tried to watch the Eureka episode I missed while we were travelling this week, but the boys howled at me for watching without them. So I have only seen the first few minutes and I'm trying to be a good mom and wait until they watch with me tomorrow. Grrrrr. If they sleep in I am watching without them. So there.
Andi, here's the full quote for you.
"Never underestimate your audience. They're generally sensitive, intelligent people who respond positively to quality entertainment."- Cameron Mitchell, SG-1.
Ah, thank you, my darling .
I was thinking about using that as a tag, too, because, really, on that show, he's the one who has to say it. I mean, with the meta and everything. Just too perfect.
