Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The Sarah Jane Adventures pilot aired in the UK today.
...And, I liked it!
It's a kid's show , and it's probably closer to the spirit of the original Who than what's currently airing . They definitely brought the behind-the-sofa factor.
I like that they gave Sarah Jane a son , even though when he grows up he's destined to kiss other boys . Such is the fate of an RTD character .
Oh, my, Tom! I had no idea they were doing such a thing!
t scurries off to *ahem*
I've been lurking and catching up, like I do. Am quite tickled to see all the Supernatural squee.
t vanishes again
The Sarah Jane Adventures pilot was awfully cute. Regarding the RVD factor, I was wondering if the reason the parents are split up is because the dad is gay.
I also liked the convenient way they've found to keep K-9 away for episodes at a time.
Andi and I have watched the Torchwood season finale eps (#12 and #13) and I feel that the last two minutes of #13 redeemed a lot of cheese in that episode.
Sarah Jane Adventures reminded me of the episode of Futurama with the Slurm, but it was indeed fun.
OK, just watched Torchwood 12 and 13. The obvious question... well, no, actually first - wheee!! TARDIS!! Or sounds of. Whatever. The question is, though, does this mean crossover ? Has anyone heard any scuttlebutt about that ?
Also, I laughed out loud when Gwen's old partner called them Mulder and Scully .

Me too!
JenP without having to whitefont, yes.
tiggy - woo-hoo! Thanks.
