Hmm, this week's Torchwood was nice.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

Interesting news for fans of SPN and VM:
Later this month, the CW network's CWTV.com site will begin beta testing a video player that will stream full-length episodes of such series as Supernatural and Veronica Mars, Variety reports. (Until now, CW fare has only been available via iTunes.) Among CWTV.com's bells and whistles will be the option to e-mail a one- or two-minute snippet to your pals/Dawn Ostroff.

And another article about it at Variety.
Dude, it's like the CW is trying to make my life easier, yet strangely less productive.
I've been wondering why the CW wasn't streaming it's shows -- I mean, they could reach people who don't have a CW station in their town, you know?
my favorite part of the Variety ad?
Season three of "Mars" is already an online hit, ranking ahead of season one of NBC's red-hot "Heroes" late last week on iTunes.
woo!!
Windsparrow, what ending was Daniel expecting it to have?
I believe he was expecting TW to have to find a way to get them back to their own time. I like that TW itself couldn't do a darned thing for them, and that the pilot-lady's ultimate fate is left to the imagination.
I rewatched a lot of this season's eps with commentary. The writer for TGitF said he hadn't been told about the end of SR (Rose being rather put out by Mickey being aboard), so he didn't write to reflect that. Rectifying that, I think, would have helped with my thinking on Rose this season.
I, too, adore Rose, which, to me, makes it more irritating that she's not consistent. And, yeah, there is a lot of continuity with this Doctor, but, dammit, he is new, and that makes his relationship to Rose a bit new, too.
I didn't like L&M that much, which is, I suppose, the main point on the ep, but I still think the very concept at this moment was not yet...timely.
I wondered where I'd seen Chloe Webber's mum, in Fear Her, before. Turns out she was Bellino in the tv version of Casanova, which starred Tennant. Small world.
the captain from The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit was also in Casanova. he was Giacomo's "manservant".
