Saying it borrows heavily from Love and Monsters implies that the idea of an outsider episode is somehow specially linked to L&M. Which...not. Also, the latest Torchwood doesn't so much concern itself with an outsider as it does one of the team investigating a mystery--you just get outsider narration as it happens.
Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
the Torchwood ep was really good. whereas Love and Monsters really wasn't. although tonight's ep of Who is much worse to me than L&M.
He's going to get BJs from a tile.
No kidding. Yeargh.
They all seemed kind of dumb, though.
Yes, this. How many of your friends have to disappear after being last seen with the mysterious "no-touchy" asshole before you start thinking something is wrong? How many eps of Who do we have left in Season 2?

Ahhh. Got it. I thought it had more in common with "Love and Monsters" from the tone of the post on LJ.
I can't even remember which one comes after "Love and Monsters" -- err, the one with the little girl, maybe? Most of the S2 of the New Who is kind of a blur to me. I adored the ep with ASH and Sarah Jane and thought "Impossible Planet" and "Satan Pit" two-parter was tremendous, but found the rest of the lot so-so at best. I suppose there is going to be another Christmas special pretty soon?
Vonnie -- good thing that Doctor Who just aired, yeah?
41,402 - is that a loss of 18? (BSG)
Hera's hair is wacky and Book-like. I'm glad that they've finally shown her and that she seems to have grown a bit.
I liked Elton quite well (I thought him dancing to ELO was adorable) and loved his interactions with Jackie, but yeah, the episode lost me at the Ursula-tile. Talk about WTF.
I really like L&M through and through. I thought the MoaningMyrtleTile was hilarious in its fuckedupedness.
Damn. I suppose we won't get a special preview on the website either.
All things considered, Helo and Sharon took the news about Hera rather well, didn't they?
"Fear Her" - reminded me of "Mirrormask" -- well the power of drawing things that come to life reminded me of "Mirrormask" - otherwise not very much alike.

In that Laura's still alive? Yeah, I was thinking that too.
Annoyed that all the promo showed us was more of the Kara & Lee show. I want more Cylons!
