Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's one of the bits I'd've like to see touched on/cleared up in the first half of an ensuing season.

I'm sending it BSG thoughts, but I have no conviction.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The best part about The Stand was the opening song and pullback.

What's sad is that it's a fairly good likeness down to mid-nose, and then turns into an Alfred Hitchcock figurine.

They're going to make a Sheppard figure that you can use to spear olives, aren't they?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Poor Hewlett. It's the smile that's most of the problem. Who the hell made a McKay action figure that was smiling?

Yeah, the lower half of his face is a little too Wallace and Gromit.

You mean in terms of reordering the episodes?

Got it in one. =)

I've been a big proponent over on the "official" SciFi board for Eureka of watching the episodes in the original intended order. I've even gone so far as to set up a playlist in iTunes with them ordered properly and done a marathon a couple of times. Even with the edits for the reordering it holds up well. It certainly clears up the progression of several of the relationships within the larger story. I would love to see a "director's cut" of the season when they release it on DVD. The whole reordering debacle reminds me a bit of Firefly and of Terry Gilliam's "Brazil".

The Rodney figure thing looks like Bruce Willis to me.
