Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

The preview for next week's SPN that aired last night is now up both at the CW Website and at You tube - unfortunately I can't get more than a few seconds of either to play.

So frustrating.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What was that animated show that's for kids but has a great appeal to adults too? P-C (and other Buffistas) raves about it - it was discussed a few weeks back.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Avatar the Last Airbender is the one you're talking about, I think. I tried watching an episode a couple weeks ago and the voice acting made me cringe and turn it off in despair after a couple minutes, unfortunately.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Do you mean Avatar? I mean, half my netflix queue lately could be described as "animated kids' show with great appeal to adults", but that's one that I know I've seen mentioned around here.

(edit: or it could be Triumph of the Hive Mind)

I HOPE that pictures of Ben Browder dressed as Harvey make their way to one of the internets.

I have seen those pictures! Bheerfan on LJ, I think, had them. Or someone who went to this year's FS con in Burbank. Several con reports were linked off of Farscape_weekly, you might find links there.

Sumi, that trailer is the same trailer that aired at the end of "Crossroad Blues"--nothing new. I think it's two episodes (or more) squished together.

Art Crawl!!!

So the exciting new one that aired last night isn't up on the website?

I didn't see last night's--I will have to double-check to see if it's the same one as the YouTube one. The one on YouTube, which is the same as two weeks ago, is the one with the demon virus/Omega Man thing, and people being very upset about a potential contagion, and the Impala spinning around, and Dean shooting a gun a lot, and Dean being strapped in a chair while something explodes, and Sam talking with some (other) psychics, one of whom says she dreamed he died, and stuff.

Is that what we saw last night?

Oh, Ben. So fantastic.

I really am starting to fantasize about having him guest on SPN somehow. Dunno what he'd do--most of the adult men they meet are either victims or ignorant cops, which rather limits the options. Still, it'd be fun to see him do something other than Stargate (not that that's going to last much longer anyway)...
