I also thought it was a very nice touch that when Jessica is in control, Nikki is the woman in the mirror.

I did, too. I missed a bit with her son - has he been aware of the Jessica/Nikki thing for a while? I was impressed when he realized he wasn't talking to Nikki on the phone last ep (or the one before?), but his conversation with his dad implied that he's known for a bit. Except I missed some of it, so...

Yay, talk about Heroes! I'm so in love with this show. I think it's partly due to the music. It's subtle and beautiful and atmospheric and addictive. Wendy and Lisa from Purple Rain are the music people, whatever they're called on a tv show. They're doing a great job.

This was the first time that the son has explicitly let on that he's known about the Nikki/ikkiN split for a while (seems like almost from the very beginning). But now I'm thinking that they've been planting little hints all along, like in his conversation with Nikki before she gets taken to Nathan's hotel room.

One thing I didn't get was how Peter and Sylar went over the edge of the amphitheater thing-y at the HS. (And sidebar, but what kind of a high school has an amphitheater like that? I just find it a little odd, but whatever.) So, did Peter just muscle him over the edge or did he absorb some of Sylar's telekenisis for the push? Or did Sylar's momentum just force them over the edge? Because I'm thinking that Peter is not so much with the muscle.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Maybe a mix of all three. I so wanted, during the locker door chucking scene, for Peter to unconsciously chuck one back at Sylar.

I wonder if the painting Isaac made is of nukeboy detonating.

If Hiro disappeared from the past 4 weeks ago, after spending 5 months in it, I wonder if maybe there's a limit on how long he can stay in one time stream before having to return to his own. Or maybe he caused a "rift" and that's why he 1) hasn't returned to Ando yet and 2) left the past before he could save Charlie.

I figure he's got to cause at least a minor rift at some point so future!Hiro knows what they are and what risks causing them.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

My love for that scene is now tempered by the fact that Jackie later saved Claire's life by telling her to run for it. It was a selfless act.

There is that, and I thought that was a nice touch too, especially because Jackie was being such a bitch just before that. The punch just emphasized Claire's embrace of her outsiderdom so much, it wasn't really who she punched but the why of it that made me go "YEAH!"

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

I so wanted, during the locker door chucking scene, for Peter to unconsciously chuck one back at Sylar.

That would have been excellent. Though maybe he can only retain one power at a time, and maybe he keeps it until he uses it?

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I wonder if the painting Isaac made is of nukeboy detonating.

It's been posited. Also, if you think about it, Claire's the only one who could probably survive getting close to him. Thus, no Claire, no saving the world.

Snerk. Not in Odessa, unless you count the water towers. It's a very cool set, though.

Well, I'm off to dream of pretty, pretty Mohinder. Do y'all think that his meeting with the little boy actually happened or was it all just part of his dream walking with the kid? At first, I thought it was real, but then when the same scene repeated between his colleague and Papa Suresh, I kind of figured that the whole thing was a dream. Maybe the little boy is young Papa Suresh reaching back from the great beyond.
