A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Is that really it for the virus?
Yeah, I was expecting them to do a whole arc with it.
I was also thinking (before tonight's EP) that they could cure the hybrid basestar chick and then they'd have their own pet basestar....
They had all this cool exposition in Part I that they didn't use tonight. Oh well - this exposition should pay off in the future....
Well, they can always go back to the Lion's Head Nebula.
I would assume that from there they are moving onwards to Earth. (They really should have picked up that beacon. I'm sure there are messages from the 13th Colony in it.)
I'd just like to give a shout out to The Doctor's hair and scooter. Also, I have a major jones for Rose's shoes.
Carry on.
His hair was nuts - loved the scooter.
Rose was the most colorful thing in 1950s London.
Though the fact that she literally waved her hand and said "Whatever" while explaining it almost redeemed the whole thing.
Right? That was hilarious.
Still missing the first season where time didn't speed by so fast, causing us to miss all the wonderful steps between A and B.
This is how I've been feeling, too. Although, I'd include the second season in the first part of it - I didn't have that whiplash feeling until this season. (Well, except for the finale of S2, of course, but that was on purpose)
The timing of the base ship blowing up was my eyeroll moment of the ep. I really like Sharon more and more, and I am so curious about what will happen when she finds out that they lied ot her about Hera. I liked Laura's disdainful, "That's convenient," to Adama when he said he wasn't going to pursue anything... and then she just sort of accepted the idea of, "Yup. And?"
I thought Boomer (Athena, whatever; she'll always be Boomer to me) getting magically saved was pretty lame. Though the fact that she literally waved her hand and said "Whatever" while explaining it almost redeemed the whole thing.
That was pretty awesome.
I was thinking that they'd just give her shots once a week or whatever. You know, like many other chronic diseases, she'd just live with it.
Yep, that's what I thought they could do, too.

Yes on both counts.
I thought D'eanna torturing Baltar was going to make this a better ep than it was. Oh well.
FWIW, I thought Lawless was having quite a lot of fun.
I guess Athena has become a Real BoyGirl.
Oh, but that reminds me -- I think it's cool that New!Sharon's callsign is the name of TOS Adama's daughter. It hasn't been mentioned in the podcasts, but I assume it's deliberate.

Me too, but then I wondered if they were lying to her, and she is infected. I don't know why, except that it seemed so easy.
