We didn't have sex, if that's what you mean. That's all I do now, not have sex.

Punishingly Intricate

They put up the preview for ep 3, but never put up the episode itself.

I thought that's what my Comcast OnDemand was going to do too but they finally put up the actual ep on Monday night.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I would not be surprised to have Niki dead until Hiro changes things.

Ooh, I hadn't thought of that.

Interesting question: was Peter unaffected by the stopped time on the train because of his Rogue-ish abilities, or could it be that anyone with powers would be imune to Hiro stopping time? The former seems more likely, but the latter could be interesting if Hiro tries for a do-over and runs into ikiN.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

was Peter unaffected by the stopped time on the train because of his Rogue-ish abilities

That's what I assumed. If not, why not just go back and warn the cheerleader herself?

What is even happening?

I think it's the former. That said, I agree it would be interesting. We don't really know Mirror!Niki's (I can't do ikiN, I just can't, because it makes me think of 'other kin' or 'otherkin' or whatever, and I'm not even sure what otherkin are, except I think it has to do with one of those things a lot of Buffistas know about and I don't, and am happy that way) limits.

Were there any previews broadcast?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I keep calling her Icky.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I didn't notice she was bleeding -- I thought she'd just been knocked unconscious.

There were pools of blood by her head and chest outlined on the white carpet, soaking into it. It could be bad shadowing from the ahem? But I'm pretty certain that's what I saw.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

She was also bleeding in Isaac's painting, I think.

I just felt so sorry for Micah having to watch his parents whup up on each other like that. Scary, even if you do know that both of them are super-people.

Oh, that's a keeper.

She was also bleeding in Isaac's painting, I think.

There at least seemed to be little speckles of blood sprayed across her nose (in the painting).

Yeah, Cindy, there were. Which were definitely new. The more interesting thing about that scene for me was Isaac's sheer *astonishment* when he rubbed off part of the paint to reveal the RNA symbol.

Is that what it was--the symbol for RNA (like ribonucleic acid RNA)? SA, has that been shown or referenced elsewhere in the show, before? It's the first time I've taken note of it.
