This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

He's done a lot more work than just Due South, so turning up on BSG is just gravy.

And you know, I've seen most of the work that he's done on various shows via the fangirl parade, but I still can't get over him playing bad guys. And he does it perfectly well, and often, and on multiple shows; but after due South, no matter how short the run was or how long ago it was I just can't get him playing a bad guy. he will always be RayK for me.

Art Crawl!!!

I love that the thing he foresaw was actually the last thing before his death.

Kara and Anders didn't have the matching tattoos last season, did they?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

OMG, Ed Quinn is on the SciFi network right now in House of the Dead 2. Colin, if you're around today you have to record this and tease him mercilessly about it.

Matt -- does that one also have Tyron Leitso? Or is he in the other House of the Dead?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hera was the big Cylon "project" before New Caprica, and Three was heavily involved in it (her news report when she was posing as D'eanna was mostly a cover for getting inside Galactica to check on Sharon's pregnancy), so it stands to reason that she'd think finding Hera alive was Really Really Important.

And an aside, the writers seem to have forgotten that she was introduced to us as a known television personality among the human population. I wonder if we'll ever get a flashback or conversation that acknowledges that Katie Couric turning out to be a Cylon would have been a pretty big deal to the civilians.

Best ep so far this season.

Just wait for next week...

I really wish they'd aired Exodus as a two-parter instead of splitting it across two weeks -- Part 1 was much better as the first hour of a two-hour episode than as a standalone. I mean, I understand that they probably couldn't get SciFi to give them two hours two weeks in a row, but still.

OMGwantnextweeksepNOW. Bounce bounce bounce.

Yeah, it was their version of wedding rings--we saw it in the big cliffhanger season finale of 2.5.

By the by, BSG frakking rocked the house in this episode. I swear to god I was fist-punching the air through the whole thing. Fucking amazing.

so it stands to reason that she'd think finding Hera alive was Really Really Important.

Indeed, this. Hera also has a role in the Cylon person mytho-prophecy.

I wonder if we'll ever get a flashback or conversation that acknowledges that Katie Couric turning out to be a Cylon would have been a pretty big deal to the civilians.

Mmm, continuity. I was sort of wondering that in the back of my minds too, and while I can retcon it as old news after four months of Cylon occupancy, it still would have been nice to have a wry Roslin throw-away line addressing it.

I really wish they'd aired Exodus as a two-parter instead of splitting it across two weeks

I would have preferred the first two eps two weeks apart and then Exodus as the big double-ep night. It would have flowed much better.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I loved when Galactica came burning down out of the sky to drop the vipers and then jumped.

Gloomcookie, this is how I described it in my LJ post:

GALACTICA FUCKING JUMPING INTO THE FRAKKING ATMOSPHERE AND BEING ALL AFLAME AND RELEASING HORDES OF VIPERS AND THEN JUMPING RIGHT OUT WHILE STILL AFLAME BECAUSE IT ONLY CAME DOWN THERE TO RELEASE THE VIPERS QUICKLY AND SAFELY AND JESUS CHRIST THAT WAS THE MOST FUCKING AWESOME THING THAT SHIP HAS EVER DONE ADAMA YOUR BALLS ARE THREE THOUSAND TIMES THE SIZE OF MOST MEN'S.

"House of the Dead 2" aired last year the weekend before his network test. Ed still maintains the success of HOD2 was partially the reason he got Stark.

I, having seen "House of the Dead 2", confidently disagree.

Although a cheeseball, clean shaven Ed fighting low budget Zombies is worth the price of admission... and yes, he will pay dearly for every re-airing.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Ed as a zombie fighter is hotter than Ed as Stark, IMO. There's a bright side to almost every bad movie.
