I am leaving. You are about to explode. ~Teal'c, 'Talion'

Shrift! Yo! (Wow, didn't realise how many people I already know are here.)

I would like to know how Kim fit in with Henry's plans to leave Eureka

Frankenbuddha: Yes, my question as well. Because I'd assumed, I think, that Henry was leaving to go find Kim (otherwise his sudden massive discontent was a bit out-of-the-bluish even with the "truth pollen"). And which seemed in character, despite my desire to nail Joe Morton's shoes to the floor of his trailer because I adore him as an actor. So when Kim was just suddenly there in the finale, as if she'd never left...foot on non-existent step. I think that kind of threw me off for the whole ep, emotionally, particularly when mixed with the disappointment of losing another character/actor I really liked. Sort of an odd parallel to the show, I guess...sacrificing Kim to keep Henry, which made it all uncomfortably sad on a number of levels. Also...harbinger of the nine month hiatus. Sniff.

Sumi: 'Regenesis' is a Canadian show actually set in Canada (whoa! fancy that!). It's basically a cutting-edge VirusOTW scientific procedural, but more character-driven than the CSI-style stuff. The OS is at [link] if you want more info. It's really good.

Oh, and since it's all I've got these days.../Fi empties the pennybox into Colin's Pilot Commentary Beer Fund.

Well that settles it then, I guess we're doing a pilot podcast.

I'd get Ed first but he wasn't in the damn thing - I think it's gotta be a Jamie and Andy thing but they've gotta staff the room immediately. So I might be solo. I could always get Jordan - yeah, that's what I'll do.

I'm on it!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh, if you do, tell Jamie to speak up or sit closer to the mic! I have to turn the volume up to hear him every time, and then get my ears blasted when anyone else speaks up.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Frankly, I was glad they went that way because an old-school bow and arrow would just look ridiculous and out of place.

Thing is you still have a lot of purists today that still prefer the old school longbow. I figure if you're going to base your crime-fighting look on Robin Hood you'd go the full nine.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Just, you know, keep Salli away from Jordan, those two together are dangerous! ;)

I was wondering, when Future!Stark says he got fired for ignoring safety protocols, was that the incident that killed Kim? Or some other unseen event?

It looks like Heroes will be around for a while:

NBC picks up 'Heroes' for a full season

The first breakout new series of the season, NBC's drama "Heroes," has become the first freshman show to receive a full-season order. Meanwhile, another first-year NBC drama, "Kidnapped," is said to be moving to Saturdays. In addition, ABC said its new comedy "Big Day" will premiere Nov. 28. NBC has given a back-nine order to "Heroes," from creator Tim Kring and NBC Universal TV Studio. " 'Heroes' has delivered exceptional ratings since its premiere, and we're even more impressed with the quality of the upcoming episodes," NBC Entertainment president Kevin Reilly said. "The best is yet to come over the course of a full season with this newest drama sensation."

I have to say, if I had been making predictions of what was going to be the big show this year, I don't think I would've picked this one.

And apparently, clowns kill.

This was my favorite part. And I'm with Sam. Clowns are just creepy, man.

I thought that Kidnapped had been cancelled. It's just moving?

NBC told them they wouldn't be ordering any new episodes but they should finish making the original order of 13 and try to wrap the story up. I assumed it was for a DVD or something but maybe they will air all 13.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

NBC picks up 'Heroes' for a full season

Yay!

" 'Heroes' has delivered exceptional ratings since its premiere

Is three episodes abnormally soon for a full-season pick-up?

I have to say, if I had been making predictions of what was going to be the big show this year, I don't think I would've picked this one.

I'd pegged it as getting cancelled after 3 eps. Oops!
