Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think even Grell-era Ollie would DIY it.

I don't know what Grell is, and I don't think DIY means Do It Yourself in that context.

Unless it does, and you mean he would actually do the kidnapping and stuff himself. But Green Arrow's a hero, though.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Grell-era Ollie = occasionally hella freakin' dark.

So, yeah, actually, that's what I meant.

And if you'd like I'll get the folks together for the pilot podcast.
I too would love a podcast for the pilot. I doubt you'd get any objections. I personally think the podcasts nearly double the entertainment value of the episodes. (And certainly gives me a good excuse to watch the episodes a couple more times.) I would definitely donate to the beer fund if I could figure a way to send it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'll also raise a very enthusiastic hand for a pilot podcast! I hope they get included in any future DVD set, they add a lot to the experience.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

And apparently, clowns kill.

Ha! I love when they snark on each other. I also loved Sam not wanting to sit on the clown chair and being all uncomfortable. I really liked that episode, killer clowns notwithstanding. Nice bit of CGI: when Dean discovers that the blind dude is the demon, and he smiles really creepily and it turns into this exaggerated, elastic, inhuman clown smile before he disappears.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Finally saw the finale of EUREKA. Poor Henry. Poor Jack. I think it was pretty clear that he remembers everything, and Henry at least remembers enough to try to save Kim. It's going to be mighty uncomfortable between them, I figure (and as Colin thought the next season might detail).

I would like to know how Kim fit in with Henry's plans to leave Eureka, but that aside, I didn't mind that she's been off doing other things (in town or elsewhere).

I had a scare, as my tape went black right at the beginning of the scene with Taggert and Jo out in the field nekkid, but it must have been a cable glitch because it came back on (though after the Taggert/Jo scene, dammit). Did I see green on Taggert's face, as in they were having another round of paintball (so to speak)? I hope the nekkid came afterwards, because otherwise ouch! and "Paint! Paint in new places!"

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I think the green on Taggart's face was zinc oxide, or some other heavy duty sunblock.(It was on his nose)

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, I couldn't understand Smallville's portrayal of Ollie. I mean, he's a good guy. I guess we're supposed to expect the good guys to randomly kidnap and torture people now?

I thought that the clown had different makeup everytime they showed it. Perhaps I was hallucinating.

I think that Alona Tal did a very nice job -- and her character on SPN is, so far, quite different from Meg.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I would like to know how Kim fit in with Henry's plans to leave Eureka, but that aside, I didn't mind that she's been off doing other things (in town or elsewhere).

I was wondering about that, too. Was he going to ask Kim to come with him? What if she'd said no?

I guess we're supposed to expect the good guys to randomly kidnap and torture people now?

Well, it's the law.
