I'm obviously confused as to whether or not 'pants' means the same thing in Canada as it does in the UK. Help?
BWAH! No. Pants in Canada and the U.S. means "trousers." Hope that helps!
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

how and when Kim got back
I got the impression she never left after she was all snuggly with Henry in her first episode. As far as "what happened when?" it's smaller than clonemeister deaging merrily offscreen.
But I do kinda like that stuff happens that we're not privy to. Otherwise it seems too "Dawn's in trouble? Must be Tuesday."
Tap pants are like girlie boxer shorts of satin or silk. They don't have elastic at the leg-hole, and are often edged with lace.
"Tap pants" are underwear, usually worn in conjunction with a camisole in my experience. But, "pants" by themselves = trousers in North America ("panties" are the usual term for ladies underwear).
ita gave a pretty good description of tap pants as I know them. It's the only NA-usage of 'pants' for underwear (excluding panties) that I know of.
In other, non-pants-related news, welcome fialka! Sorry you missed out on the fun during the first season of Eureka, but at least there's another one to look forward to!
Was listening to the Eureka podcast for the season finale. Can someone here explain what it means to go to double green sides on a script? I've gotten it figured out that a script can get printed on a different color paper depending on what revision it is. Does double green mean that they've iterated through all the colors multiple times? And then what's the sides part?

I was actually here for most of the season, just quietly observing from under the bed. I shall definitely come out from under for the next.
(Oh, and thanks all for solving the burning underclothes question. It's always good to put these Seriously Important Issues to rest :)
fialka -- welcome. . . and Regenesis?
Smallville: hee. the Soooper Sneeze is Sooper Silly. Also, did you guys notice the new titles? With the scene from Zod where Clark and Lex (as Zod) are flying while holding onto each other and spinning? VERY VERY funny.
Hmmm, Lana is moving in with Lex.
Dean
Planes fall.
Sam
And apparently, clowns kill.
Bwah!
I love that everytime the evil clown appears it looks completely different. Or maybe it's a whole troup of killer clowns.
