I'm sad that Kim is dead and that we didn't get more episodes with her when she was alive.

I too wish we could have had more episodes with Kim. I had high hopes of seeing her in Season 2. On the other hand... it is SciFi... and we've already had people come back from the dead once. And considering they have a form to undead someone, it must happen at least with some regularity.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I hope Carter does get to keep his memories, because having 4 more years of experience in Eureka than anyone knows about would make for some really interesting dynamics, especially since some of what he thinks he knows about people may not apply in the current timeline. (Too much of that could get old fast, and would confuse the hell out of new viewers, but it's too twisted a setup not to play with.)

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

The first thing I noticed about the episode is that SARAH's voice changed in the future. That made me laugh.

So what happened to Nathan in the accident?

My handwave is that she was directly in front of the tube, so it was a directed blast and he just got singed.

He was alive in the alternate timeline, but that was when Henry was able to stop the explosion (I assume) to save Kim. Stark could be seriously injured, but that seems problematic since Allison was in a chipper, flirty mood at the end.

Thing is, Henry maneuvered for Stark's position after Stark got Kim blown up so Henry would have access to the thingy. What's to stop him from doing it again, but this time going back and kidnapping Kim the day before or something? Does Stark get fired again for cutting corners? If not, why not?

Yay for getting a season 2!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That made me laugh.

Oh, how I wished it had been SMG's voice.

Oh, how I wished it had been SMG's voice.

That would have been truly awesome.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I missed the voice change, but I don't recognize voices very well. It took me 3 or 4 episodes to even be able to tell that SARAH's voice was Fargo's. Damn, I should have taped last night.

Heh -- instead of SMG's voice, it should have been Kristen Bell's. :-)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Heroes: I wonder if one of the bodies is her son's father.

I don’t know. She didn’t sound angry at him, she said that he wasn’t going to come back because the cops were after him. But, maybe OtherSelf killed him. Speaking of, we should come up with a name for the other stripper self. Remember how much fun OCM was?

Okay, I know this is a fantasy sequence, but Henry is a medical doctor/coroner, too?

Remember in the pilot when they dug up Susan’s body, he’s the coroner too. He rips off his Velcro tag and replaces it with coroner (and interestingly, MSWord just capitalized Velcro with autocorrect, so I’m leaving this even though we talked about it already)

yeah so I guess if you travel, you remember - otherwise how would you know what you were there for?

Didn’t they say something about how the body doesn’t travel, but consciencesness does?

Ooh, hey, was that a GD logo spinning on the screen of the evil consortium dudes computer after he finished talking to Bev?

I think so. We’re supposed to think that someone at GD is the Consortium. Which leaves Stark and Fargo, cause those are the only people we know at GD.

You know, I was thinking about how FutureAllison was so worried about them getting together. I’m wondering if she knows (but didn’t want to tell FutureJack) how precarious their getting together was, like she flipped a coin or some random event prompted it, and she’s not sure that it will happen that way again.

"Sonic the Hedgehog" a.k.a Ed's hair choice, cracked me up. He wanted to pull up in shades, full Miami Vice duds, in a convertible ferrari with Sussudio playing - so it was an extension of that.

That would have been AWESOME!

The current idea is that the whole event puts a big rift in Jack and Henry's relationship. But I have to get Henry to stay in Eureka despite what I think of him for security reasons....I think the whole thing is gonna get darker.

How could it not? Regardless of what Henry knows intellectually about the situation, viscerally, he’ll never forgive. I hope that Henry eventually realizes that Jack couldn’t have come back without his help, so that Jack didn’t keep him from saving Kim, Future!Henry did.

. On the other hand... it is SciFi... and we've already had people come back from the dead once.

Go cloning! Chose cloning! Walter did it, why not Henry?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

We’re supposed to think that someone at GD is the Consortium. Which leaves Stark and Fargo, cause those are the only people we know at GD.

Maybe the evil guy in charge of the conspiracy will turn out to be hapless little Fargo.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You know, it's a bit of a stretch for Fargo, who can't even handle a neighbor with loudspeakers, to be the center of a vast conspiracy....
