You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Finally. I was expecting you hours ago. Give me that. I'm nearly done, anyway. Well, come on."

Oh, I would pay so much money to see that. Sadly, show not called Jack O'Neill Saves Atlantis' Ass, so I guess I'll have to settle for hoping that he doesn't actually need to be rescued...

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm saying there's a whole other quote, which is what Shep was quoting. (Chapter 8, at the end of the book, according to Spark Notes)

Ah. Hm.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

show not called Jack O'Neill Saves Atlantis' Ass

Nope. Once I finish a paper, I want to go back and watch The Pegasus Project. I was in a hotel room with my family when it aired before, and the differences, depending on which set of charcters are POV, are fascinating. Although Rodney gets talked about as more of an ass the more the SGC is involved in any episode of SGA, too.

Belatedly: Hallo, fialka! I've been reading you on and off since the 'Scaper days. (suelac also.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's a pain quote, and fair quote. I sometimes cross-attribute them myself. Which means I need both a rewatch and a reread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I was pretty happy - it's the first episode of SGA I've completely enjoyed with no reservations since "No Man's Land."

"...Life isn't fair. It's just fairer than death, that's all." are the last lines of the book.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

There's more but I gotta go again. Very busy. Very sick.

Feel better soon, Colin.

Hallo Chrismq, although to learn that you've been reading me for yonks makes me go, "urk?" and want to hide under the bed. It'll pass, no doubt.

Welcome to B.org, if this is your first stop. (I may have missed you on some other threads...)

Debetesse-- it's true that Rodney comes off pretty bad from the pov of SG-1, so I guess it's fair that the Atlantis folks always make the SGC look pretty bad in return. But as one of my flist said, SG-1 must be offworld somewhere, because there's no way they'd leave Jack O'Neill trapped on Atlantis. Replicators or no Replicators, and to hell with whatever Landry had to say. Hell, they'd probably be right there with Sheppard's team.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I agree, and if the eps are concurrent, the whole quest thing has SG-1 offworld.
