This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
MF is 6'3" and 210 EQ is 6'4".
Well, I was wrong there. MF looked taller to me. But still, both tall men.
I prefer the tension with Stark and Allison.
Me, too! The look Allison gave him while they were dancing just warmed my heart! It was so sweet.
am I the only one who thinks that she wanted him to fight for her?
Nope. I thought the same thing.
They didn't name them as divorce papers, did they? How sad is it that I was relieved they were divorce papers, and not some game being played with the audience?
I've been primed by too much easy TV.
The close-up shot definitely said divorce or dissolution of marriage or something unequivocal.
Did it open with the shot, or was it during the scene? I do remember hoping it was simply what it seemed it was, but not when I sat back and gave thanks.
During the scene. Allison brings in the envelop and hands it to Stark who opens it and takes out the papers. We could easily read "Dissolution of Marriage" on them.
Is this before all the dialogue? I need to work out how stupid to feel for my inattentiveness.
Annoyingly, the nap dialogue was obscured by bad reception on my part. I'm a power napper! That snippet was written just for me!
It was during the dialogue. I don't remember exactly when, but Stark had made some snarky comments to Allison and Allison replied and said she had something for him. He looked at the papers and they had some uncomfortable moments and the scene was over.
Stark asked if she was there to invite him to the dance. She didn't reply. He said she obviously wasn't there to invite him to the dance. She gave him the papers.
I still have it on tape if someone (ita) needs a transcription later.
Nah, I have it on my TiVo, but thanks. I thought the reveal was later than that, after she'd implied more.
