Tonight: Officers! The Devil has created an army of Starks!
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Will sadly have to keep my nose out of here once Eureka airs on the East coast. Due to work I'm not going to have a chance to watch anything on my DVR (including last week's and this week's Blade) until Friday afternoon.
Finished the Galactica 2.0 DVDs yesterday and the Cylon Virus/Logic Bomb plotline (as well as organic cylons apparently having a fiber-optic port that goes "click" inside their arm, but still be biologically indistinguisable from humans) really bugs. I realize computers tend to be very hand-wavy on TV, particularly sci-fi, but after all the talk of how Galactica is completely unnetworked in the mini-series, I fail to see how making a physical connection between the FTL and Navigation computers allowed the virus to spread into electrical, diagnostic and atmospheric control systems. Not to mention the fact that the only reason the Cylons were able to hack the rest of the fleet was because of the navigational program Baltar developed, that Six put backdoors into, being installed on the military ships (but not, as was explicitly stated, Galactica.) But putting hardwire connections between a couple of Galactica's systems suddenly opens the door for them to hack in?
Other than that, I'm really enjoying season 2 so far and GF and I are impatiently waiting for the release of the 2nd half of the season.
I actually liked last week's Blade, but won't mention why until so as not to spoil anything for you. This week is the season finale, so make sure to tape it if you won't be around. According to what I've seen while wandering around on other boards, the network still hasn't decided whether or not to renew it for a second season. So we may be left with a lot of story threads dangling in mid-air.
My DVR is set to record it. So barring any foul-ups, I should get it.
/steps timidly from the shadows/
hey'all, I've been looking for a place to discuss my newest love (and obsession) "Eureka", since my only other outlet leaves much to be desired (that doesn't sound snotty at all!). So blame it on Colin's 411 podcast that I found this place!
I'll most likely be reading quietly, but just wanted to say "hi" in case I do feel the need to chime in.
/lurks/
welcome, Juliebird! we all have to unlurk sometime. Wonderfalls outed me many moons ago. feel free to jump in anytime!
also, Colin? your post has me worried about tonight's episode. i'm not quite as adverse to Allison/Jack as everyone else here, but i'm not 'shipping them either. (i see much more sexual tension between Jack/Jo.)
Welcome, Juliebird! We like new cult board members who recognize the perfection of our chosen shows.
I've been missing a few episodes of Eureka due to work/life issues, so I was very happy to discover that Sci Fi channels is having an all-day marathon on October 3rd! It looks like they'll be showing all the eps except for Dr. Nobel, which is all right because I've actually seen that one already.
I'll be setting up my VCR before going to work that day.
new tagline!
Man, they need to sell that EM barrier to movie theatres. Block those cell phones!
