Wow. Saw Primal last night. This is the one I've been nervous about the whole time.
Could the music be worse? You gotta tell me if I'm crazy or not. Worst music ever.
The romantic moment - needless to say from previous posts - drove me crazy. NUTS. Angry... but one must collaborate.. but it was plot and I couldn't get it out. Cringe. CRINGE!! LEt me know if it makes you want to pull your hair out as well.
I think they could have helped out with appropriate music. I actually thought, "Are they really playing that? This isn't a temp track?....It's gotta be a temp track..... oh my god, it can't be a temp track....if it is, it's a really bad temp track."
Love to talk about the stuff I was fighting about this episode. Was this bugger a war.
And what's up with the camera angles? WHAT IS UP?

I have to say--the music has been pretty heavy handed in the first few eps. I was watching one of the later eps with closed captioning on since the AC was noisy, and the captioning of the music seemed similarly anvilicious. But that's their job, really.
This is tonight's episode, I presume? Thanks for the warnings. ;)
Hee, now I really can't wait.
Oh yeah, it should be a fun watch 'n post.

on CFerg. Keep fightin' the good fight! It's a good show, when are the writers going to realize that? I swear, they must have a fanfic writer for the romance part.
Fanfic writers are just as capable of writing good romance as TV writers are of writing bad and cliched romance. The difference is that one doesn't have much of a choice with one's TV writers, as one does not make hiring and firing decisions.

There are some excellent fic writers out there. I wish some of them wrote for TV; I'd watch more TV.

Very true. There are some fanfic writers I keep reading despite what I consider serious flaws because they do satisfy other criteria. But I still "fire" a heck of a lot of them.

My choice to read a fanfic writer's work or not pretty much has the same effect as my choice to watch a broadcast program or not... both will still be there whether or not I'm among those being entertained.

yep, and you are one of them. But, when I think "fanfic" I think, in general, bad. I read one genre (go CLex!), and there are probably only 10 authors that I bother to read. I mean, I try to give everyone a shot, but so much of it is so bad.
