"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It's sort of cool because settling down was all she ever wanted so it really turns Jack on his head.

Of course, he settled down in a place where a rain of mutant robot toads could happen any time.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

rain of mutant robot toads

Ten times fast. Dare you.

In fact, I pre-emptively vote for this as the next thread title.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ita, I know I'm in trouble now.

When do you get back in town again?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

!Officers! !Stark has created an army of mutant toad robots!

It's probably less wordy in Spanish.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I just caught up with Eureka! Boy, you people talk a lot. Even though it was mostly to geek out over magnetism.

I liked the episode. It was nice seeing Stark humanized a bit. I thought that the pretty young man who played Callister was wee bit stiff, then it all made sense because... robot! Heh. Poor Jo.

Jack/Allison was contrived, but they were charming enough in that scene with the fence that I went with it. Of course, the writers then had to be reeeeally obvious and make that boner joke. Oy vey.

I'm with ita re. NO to RPF (it totally cracks me up that Colin actually knows what that is), but shrugging my shoulders about fic-talk re. the characters on the show. I mean, we talk about fanfic on this thread from time to time, and I imagine there are quite a few Buffistas here who couldn't give too fig about fic. And at this point, with the amount of interaction we've had with him, I'd consider Colin a Buffista, not some celebrity actor who drops by the board and post-and-run.

I do agree with Matt that Jack reads squarely hetero to me on the show, but if I squint hard, I can sort of see how Jack/Stark might work.

No Jack/Fargo?

In re the last ep, I like how a whole interpersonal relationship history was sketched in for Stark and Callister, especially that Stark had covered up so that Cal could escape, taking a serious demotion in the process. It makes him an interesting, even occasionally sympathetic character who will sometimes be in non-villainous opposition to Our Heroes for very good reasons.

While I could certainly see SARAH/Fargo (or Sarah/Fargo -- you want to bet he's tried to create his own Buffybot?), not much of other combinations.

Jack/Eugenia is the only 'ship I can believe in at the moment.

No Jack/Fargo?

Hahahahahaha!! NO.

I agree with Theo that Eugenia during that kiss was the one with whom I've seen the most "romantic" chemistry with Jack so far, but it doesn't really count as Jack wasn't, well, Jack during that kiss. He sure was adorable in his befuddlement afterward though.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

(or Sarah/Fargo -- you want to bet he's tried to create his own Buffybot?)

I do not have time to write fic right now. I do not have time to write fic right now. ::puts bunny back in hutch::

That's such a raw deal about the loud megaphone. So cruel! But it looked good, so it was a sacrifice in the name of your art... sure, that's it...

Colin's naughty! But now I'm seeing ita in Eureka, and it makes me happy. Protecting the secrets of science with krav!!
