Fred: The size and depth of the wound indicate a female vampire. Harmony: Or gay! Fred: Um…it doesn't really work like that.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

One of the many things I liked about Firefly was that they weren't blathering about getting more power to the shields.

Isn't that because...they didn't have shields? Heh.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

One of the many things I liked about Firefly was that they weren't blathering about getting more power to the shields. I'm sad that that particular plot point has become more prevalent on the SGs.

Oh, God, me too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Says the woman who watched Mutant X religiously.

But that only had one painful woman, and two pain free (one EXTREMELY so) men.

And, surprisingly enough, two good episodes.

Now, beat me up about my final season Andromeda watching. For that, I got no defense but needing to get a better view of trainwreck carnage.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Cliff Simon, who plays Ba'al, is going to be at DragonCon. I plan to walk by him a few times and marvel at how stunning he is in person.

The great thing about that ep. was the multiple evil hotness. Mmmm, yes. I was this >< close to putting Cliff Simon on my List.

Says the woman who watched Mutant X religiously.
Mutant X was generous in lickable males.

Now, beat me up about my final season Andromeda watching. For that, I got no defense but needing to get a better view of trainwreck carnage.

Beat you up? No. Look at you funny? Oh, my, yes. The moment Tyr was no longer a regular character was the moment Andromeda became unwatchable.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, dear me. I thought sumi meant the disease, not the band.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Ditto. It didn't help that I didn't even know there was a band called Anthrax. Are they, like, a hardcore metal band or something?

Also: yay new thread!

Yes. And they bring the noise.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Glad to hear that. Although it'd have been funny if a band named "Anthrax" sounded like Belle & Sebastian.

For a while there, I also briefly wondered if the band could be actually on the show, instead of visiting the set. Then my brain went to an 'All Singing, All Dancing Battlestar Galactica episode' land and I tried to imagine EJO doing a soft shoe, then there was some kind of catastrophic synaptic system failure.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm imagining the Commodore and Baltar doing a little soft shoe now.

Hee.

With music provided by Anthrax.
