You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

We enjoyed this week's Eureka. Even my cat, Sammie, sat and watched it. She does have a thing for sandy-haired males, so it may have been entirely superficial on her part.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The coffee cups Zoe had at the end were obviously empty. Props! Can we get some liquid in these? How about sand?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

You know, Daniel, the coffee cups bothered me too, but I figured I was just being too petty for words and didn't say anything. Thanks for speaking up.

I've poked at the the things that bugged but I haven't said what I liked--which was seeing the human side of Stark--for a robot, which was his child, sort of. And the blowup at Zoe, and the apology. All good things. I wondered why there had to be a Zoe, she seemed superfluous at first. But some of the best interaction has been between Zoe and Jack.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm sorry about losing the cow -- that would have been priceless!

Now tagless for your comfort.

If you're going to be set in the real world and talk about science and be entertaining, there will be handwaving.

Yup. It's part science, part fiction. But there does need to be a nice balance.

I caught up with the marathon yesterday. I've somehow managed to miss the 2nd part of the pilot but Many Happy Returns is my favorite episode so far. I think it was a good hook.

No problem. I enjoyed the episode, but empty things that should be heavier always niggles at my brain.

Of course, maybe they were special Eureka!cups. Antigravity in a cup.

Eureka!cups. Antigravity in a cup.

As long as what's in the cup smells nice, I don't mind wearing it in my hair because that is what would happen the first time I tried to use one.

There was liquid in the cups. It's funny that they looked empty. We always use liquid because empty cups don't behave properly. That's funny.

Maybe in sorting out the scene we got too familiar with the props. I'll re-watch it.

Fake it. Put a lead weight in the bottom of the cup.

Weird. They just looked...huh.

Still? Fun episode, and I don't remember any episode of The Andy Griffith Show like it.
