But the one at the shrink's house was because the Callibot's wireless transmitter was wonky?
Maybe Beverly equips each room at the inn with a Dell wireless laptop.
I've never caught his first name. Is it Tony?
Nathan, but I like the Uncle Tony idea.

oh, I know! he found the plans in Uncle Tony's garage!

Do not.
The solid brass badge=nonmagnetic is a good point. I was going to say that lots of nametag pins are metallicized plastic, and therefore relatively nonmagnetic. Also, the instant that Allison was magnetized to the fence, I thought, "Aha! Fed. Gun. Wow, that must be some big gun. And some damned good tailoring to hide it."
I keep waiting for him to build an iron suit that flies and has all kind of high tech gear in it.
I keep thinking the same thing. And he looks very Tony Stark, just trade the beard in for a mustache or goatee (depending on which Marvel Universe you're talking about) and it's perfect.
I'm loving the Uncle Tony idea.

not possible. that jacket was too short and too form fitting. Plus, we've never seen her with a gun, and if she'd had one, she would have had it out when Jack drew his.
Well, that was my immediate wank of her being magnetized to the fence. But yeah, I don't remember her carrying a gun.
Both her wrists were, supposedly, stuck on each side of Jack, so I thought watch and bracelet--steel, I guess.
serial:
That's not right. She used her right hand to try and get her belt off or his or something. It was the left, and I guess her belt, that were stuck.

her watch probably. But, I still can't imagine that small bit of metal being that strongly magnetized. Maybe she had laundry quarters in her pocket.
Quarters aren't attracted by magnets. Canadian nickels are (at least they used to be) because they have a higher percentage of actual nickel in them than US nickels. So maybe she had a bunch of those twelve-sided nickels with the beaver on the back of them.
Or she has steel rods in her arms and spine from the terrible automobile accident she was in once upon a time.
