Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

The status is NOT quo.

Susan, if you just want a very quick response, I'd be happy to. I don't have time tonight for a thorough beta...would that still be okay?

(And thanks for the feedback, everyone.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I like the last one and number 8.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I like 1 and 8 best. Although, 10 shows off your cheekbones very well and I like it just for that.

Susan, backsent.

In terms of the pictures, it looks like #8 is a common thread. That's so funny; it was one of the ones I was least fond of!

Hee. Personally, I like #1 the best for the reasons Susan mentioned.

Gah. I don't know. It's so hard to look at any of these objectively.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I like number 8 for this purpose. It's attractive but serious.

Oh, but did I mention that a lot of the writing I'm featuring is humorous? Does that matter?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

All good pix, Kristin. Impressions -- #6 and #8 look like excellent author-blurb material. #7 looks too posed. The last four are all good for distictly different moods.

Even with humorous writing, I think it's better that the picture isn't too over the top.
