Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh, yes ita--both of us with things around our necks.

Deb, wow.

Always Anti-fascist!

Y'all, make me go be suspenseful and brilliant or something, and stay away from scary fandom Farakhan wanna-bes who piss me off and make me want to be a blue-eyed devil for, like five minutes. And I haven't skipped a day at the desk in about three weeks.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

True story, Bev.

I wrote about it in a locked-down livejournal entry a couple of months ago. One more thing I'd forgotten about, that ring, until Marlene reminded me. She remembered the miscarriage I had, too. Someday, if the memory and the drabble topic combine on that one? I'll sweat it out.

Anyway, as Buffy put it, there's always a talisman...

The ring sounds absolutely incredibly beautiful, and just like something you'd give him. I had no doubt it was real. I'm just glad, if you are, that you've remembered it.

It was beautiful. It had tiny, perfectly crafted silver finger tips holding the mounted carved piano key in place.

Damn.

Up with the sun

Go Deb!

I would be having way too much fun coming up with a psudonym at this point, myself.

As much as I'd love a very British pseudonym, the books in question are set here; one in SF, in one LA. Literate horror.

Also want something that puts me midshelf or above, eye level. I'm thinking D-H in the surname.

brillig

Deb, has anyone ever tried to play the MS card in promoting or reviewing your books? Something like "persevering through the hardships" and all that?

connie, nope. But I'm going to play it myself, I think, by writing a submission piece for "My Turn". And if we do this Morning Show thing, it'll get played, believe you me.

After the kind of meltdown my body went through last night, I figure I might as well exploit this fucking disease, since it's certainly exploiting me.

What is even happening?

Deb, is your maiden name closer to the top of the alphabet? I was thinking about a middle name and maiden name, so it would still be your name on the book, just a different part of it.

(Also? Very good to see you here and typing).
