Welcome, Karl! You will be a most welcome addition to this thread! Mostly we post in-progress and excerpts, and people critique and hair-pat. We talk about the business end of things too, and sound advice is given. Oh, and we do the weekly drabble thing, 100 words on a topic from Teppy every Monday. So definitely do jump in, and have fun. Yay, you, Allyson. Yeah, it's crazy. While I'm NaNoWriMoing I'm so conscious of word count, that I keep thinking about the number of words I'm putting into posts (and not putting into the novel).

Thanks, everyone...I thought about quitting cause it seemed silly or superficial.Whether or not, it wants to be more than maybe I do.(And some mystery writers are/were highly political individuals, so it wouldn't *have* to. Be silly and superficial that is.)
