How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Oh, the caillou creature is...scary. He whines, and breaks things, and pouts. Kara thought he was her hero. I stopped letting her watch it.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Where in sweet fuck are they coming up with the ideas for these things?!?

Yes, big with the hate!

On the other hand, they're airing very good adaptations of Rosemary Wells Ruby and Max stories on Nicktoons, and both Kara and I love those. Very sweet, smart stories with just enough mischief to be fun.

Going to take my ooky tummy to the couch and read a bit. Goodnight.

When I was a kid I loved Captain Kangaroo, but none of us kids ever liked Mr. Rogers. Damn, that man was creepy. I think I was a kid pre-Sesame Street, but I know I never watched it.

My mother didn't like Mr. Rogers. I did. I found his earnestness... I don't know. Perhaps refreshing, perhaps quaint. Anyhow, he had a red sweater I was quite fond of.

Of course, I also loved the Friendly Giant and Mr. Dress-up.

Especially Mr. Dress-up.

The Friendly Giant always made me kind of sad.

Mr. Dressup.

We got CBC, so for some reason, most of the children's shows we watched as wee ones were the CBC shows. In my world, Sesame Street contains French half the time, Spanish the other half.
