deb, I didn't get anything (I only now got to re-check my e-mail account, which apparently doesn't want us to read each other, the meanie).
I'm afraid I'm not going to be here long today, and then I'm off for the weekend and you're off to DC (right?), but I do hope I'll get to not only read it, but also be able to provide you some feedback on time.
Nilly, I'll try resending, but don't rush it - Mike Brotherton and Jay Lake, the editors, have it, because there was a deadline. So, for enjoyment only.
deb, got both e-mails (of course, after you send a second time, the first one appears). Thanks.
Wherefore est the new drabble topic? (sniff)
Sorry! I am F2F-lagged, and didn't even think of it!
Let's see....I'ma go with a scene again, like the first one (that was 2 people at a table). This week's drabble challenge (challenge #7) is this: two people -- one is lying down and one is standing. That's it. Drabble it. Anything goes.
Quite all right, Teppy, F2F lag is an understandable excuse.
I think this topic may result in much porniness. I am looking forward to it. I think I shall not write any porny drabbles, however.
Give it a shot, NovaChild. Or at least something cheerful. All I can come up with is sad and gloomy, and I'm afraid to post it for fear of ruining everybody's start.
Cheerful. Not in any way dark and serious. Okay. Ummm....
This is so off the top of my head it hurts. No serious thought put into it.
"Come here," she wheedled him from the bed, "I'm tired of watching you pace around."
He turned and flashed his cute distracted smile. "Not yet. I'm still thinking. I bet, if we got..."
"Come on!" she insisted. "Think about our bedroom decorations later. Right now, I want you to focus on ME. Not wallpaper, not furniture, but ME. Your WIFE."
He laughed, and crossed to the bed. "All right," he said, "you win. I'll come to bed." He leaned down, briefly, to kiss her forehead, then straightened up and flipped off the light.
"Damned straight you will," she teased, victorious.
Teppy, nice scene.
Will do my damnedest to get one in.

for me. It made me really happy.
