I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

Could you let me know, when things are finalized?

The one thing I know I have to do is be back in Israel on the middle of September for Rosh Hashana. So there's a definite end deadline for everything, and I'm not sure yet about the timing of the beginning of the trip. Things are still being settled, and one of the factors is definitely people's schedules.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Nilly, you bet.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Nilly, I *love* the idea of a hands drabble.

Also, you CAN write. I offer this as proof:

my grandmother used to do that, with her long beautiful damaged-from-decades of hard work hands, which were stronger than mine even when she was in her seventies and I a healthy teenager. And then I thought about how, after my grandmother passed away, my mom started to pick up a few hands gestures of hers, gestures that she never used before.

Also, it sounds like "squeezing" is the right word. You could also use "wringing." Mop is probably the right word, though.

Wheeeeeeee! Yay me!

Nilly, I expect that so many people will want to give you things that you should plan to ship a box or two of goodies before heading back home. *grin*
