There was a thing in News about this; I think they made it so if you ban someone, s/he is also off your f'list forever. Not sure how it works, because I currently (thank god and knock wood) have no need for troll destroyage.

I think he more or less friended the "buffistas" as a group. He hasn't popped up in reply to any of my posts, so I'ma not poke him with a stick, so long as he doesn't. I friends lock anything I don't want widely read (when I can remember how, now I'm embarrassed again), and there have been a couple things I made 'eyes-only' but for the most part, what I post is general consumption.

They don't actually bug you in your journal, so it's kind of limited trollage, Deb. These are people with nothing better to do than friending everyone in the world and waiting for people to freak out and ask to be removed. I have one, but his username is pretty innocuous so I'm just waiting 'til he gets bored.

I'm lucky, though. I know someone who's really active in feminist and liberal boards, and she keeps getting friended by creeps who call themselves things like rape_is_fun and kkk_krewe.

Yuck. I wonder if this person is in my list? If so, he's never posted, and last I looked, there were no names I didn't recognise.

I banned him when I checked his profile.

His profile makes him sound like he's just a teensy bit INSANE.
