Damn. Must peel cats off head and lap and legs, and go get some work done....

which is in shitty first draft stage
It is not, ijs. It is really very good.
X-post from Bitches:
I have a question about Livejournal. Bear with the stoopidhead for a minnit. My friends-lock used to be eyes only, friends-only, group(s)-only, and none. Now I have Default (which I have no idea whether I set the default, or LJ does, and if I do, how?), None, Anonymous only, By non-friends, and All comments. I have a headache, which is making my thinking particularly opaque. All I want to do is friends-lock this entry. How?
I am a complete tech-chimp...so I feel your pain, but not so much with the helpful.

You're looking at your screen comments settings. The entry locking is right above it, and hasn't changed.
Beverly, I posted about your LJ problem on Bitches. I hope it's helpful.
Yes, thank you dears, problem solved. The relief at having it solved is overwhelming, and overshadows my embarrassment at being such a dummy.
Tell me I'm not the only one who can't see the obvious, at least sometimes?
Bev, I just got given two months of paid access (which is amazing on every level, since I was already paid through November) by someone I barely know but like very much. And I still can't figure out how to link the user, so I can thank her properly and publicly.
Hell, I can still barely figure out why the b.org HTML dislikes me so much.

Totally not. I've been using LJ cut tags for months and months, and I still mess them up a good 50% of the time.

The code you want is <lj user="username">.
