Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

That'd be a great quote for the jacket of Book 2!

For one moment, I swear, I thought you meant "In your FACE, Publishers Weekly!"

Oh, and Tad's War of the Flowers made their Science Fiction category. And did I mention, only five mysteries got picked? ANd I'm one of 'em?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Belated but heartfelt hallelujahs, Deb! Yay!

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Too entirely fine, Deb!

I love LexisNexis. I just go in every other day and check, and this time, it popped up a new hit, and it was the Library Journal. Cost me three whole dollars to download and print it. Happy now...

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Deb!

Always Anti-fascist!

Susan, thanks for the Writer's Market. Now I feel like I have to shop that article around because you took the time and stuff.

Swouncing

Deb, a belated "yay" - late, but still very happy for you.

And thanks, all of you - catching up on this thread was a fascinating read.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm thinking of sending out this story soon, but maybe it is not ready for prime time yet. And it needs a title.

It's old...I cheated on "Perfect" with it. Now I think it's better than "Perfect"
I was going to post it...in fact I did, but the Copy came back wrong, so I'll just put out a beta request and call it a day. So, please could a couple people look at it? A woman does not live by dumpster sex alone.
